2026 China Mountain Bike Downhill League — Moganshan Round Wraps Up in Style

The 2026 China Mountain Bike Downhill League rolled into Moganshan and delivered exactly what the mountain promised — raw terrain, fast racing, and a weekend to remember.

Held on June 6–7 at the Chayin Bike Park in Sihe Village, Moganshan Town, Deqing County, Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, the event brought together over 150 riders from 30 registered teams across China, all chasing glory on one of the country's most characterful downhill tracks.

A Track Built for the Mountain

The course was designed to make the most of Moganshan's natural landscape — and it showed. Stretching 1,030 metres with a total vertical drop of 155 metres, the track wasted no time in sorting out the field. Riders had to navigate tight bamboo forest corridors, relentless loose rock sections, multi-stage jump lines, log obstacle zones, and a sharp final corner that punished any loss of focus. Technical, demanding, and thoroughly entertaining to watch.

Eight Categories, One Mountain

Racing was split across eight categories — Men's Elite, Masters, Men's Senior, Men's Youth, Men's Junior A, Men's Junior B, Women's, and a Children's Experience category — covering every age group and ability level. One of the highlights of the weekend was the turnout of young riders, who tackled the course with composure and confidence, showing that the next generation of Chinese downhill is very much on its way.

Qualifying ran on Saturday afternoon, with riders going all-in from the first run. The Elite and Masters riders pushed the limits of control through the steep and rocky sections, while the younger competitors held their lines and showed impressive consistency under pressure. Finals day on Sunday brought clear skies, calm mountain air, and ideal conditions for everyone to put down their best rides.

More Than Just a Race

Beyond the competition, the Moganshan round once again proved that China's downhill scene is growing in both depth and quality. Events like this one do more than hand out trophies — they connect riders, build the community, and showcase venues like Moganshan to a wider audience. With its lush forests, dramatic terrain, and strong local support, Moganshan is cementing its reputation as one of China's premier outdoor sports destinations.

The league continues — and if this round is anything to go by, the rest of the season is going to be well worth watching.

Ride on. 🤘
