I’m Paul, I’m from the UK, and currently live and work in Shanghai, China. I’m enjoying the Chinese and Asian race scene as much as I can while I’m here, and making some new friends along the way. I’m used to getting wet and muddy in the UK, so riding in hot dusty conditions in China is great!
I have two passions, the outdoors and bikes, I’ve been riding bikes since the early days of mountain biking, back when they had rigid forks and canti-lever brakes, so by now I should be insanely good. Unfortunately I’m not, but I can hold my own. Over the years I’ve done a bit of everything, trials, BMX, dirt jumping but now I am mainly into riding enduro style events, particularly big multi day stage races. I am currently training for the Andes Pacifico, in February 2020. For me that is what mountain biking is all about, a big adventure, somewhere new on my bike, taking pictures, meeting new people and having a good time.
