On Oct. 3rd 2014 the 2nd Wheels 4 Life Indian Summer Gala fundraiser was held at the Ranch in Laguna Beach, California. Nearly 200 guests stepped up and dressed up to support Wheels 4 Life's cause, to supply more people with bicycles in developing countries in need of transportation. Thanks to the support of all the sponsors and guests $ 54,000 was raised, enough to buy almost 500 bicycles for the likes of healthcare workers and students who often have to walk miles to get to patients or schools; or farmers that transport their goods to the market and people that find work thanks to access of a bicycle. The highlight of the evening was the screening of the new Wheels 4 Life film "Riding Out Of Poverty", which was shown during the dinner and followed by an auction and dancing. Musical entertainment was provided by locals Nickei and Common Sense band. Many industry folks, pro riders, legends and kind hearted people supported the charity that was founded and is run by Hans Rey and his wife Carmen. Thank You All For Making A Difference!
